Book Cover Redesign

This is a redesign of the book Skullduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. I created a vector illustration of one of the main characters for the front cover and a smaller vector illustration based on some of the interior illustrations for the back. I did custom type for the title, but put the rest of the type in Helvetica to ensure it was easily readable.

Flat File

This is the digital flat file of the book cover.
This is the full flat file of the book cover. The left and right ends are the inner book flaps, containing the summary and author information. The back cover has some reviews of the book, a small illustration, and a barcode. The spine has the publisher's logo, the author's name, and the book title. The front cover has an illustration of one of the main characters (who is a skeleton) holding flames in his hands, which illuminate his scarf, face, and hat. In his hat is custom text of the book title, and below the illustration is the author's name in Helvetica. The book cover has a black background, with the text being in white, tan, or green to complement the illustration.
